Democrats Demand Vaccine Takeover After Disturbing Report

Gov. Cuomo’s “vaccine czar” Larry Schwartz has called officials to judge their support for Governor Cuomo.

According to the NY Times, Schwartz reached out to two Democratic county officials to ask about their support of the troubled governor, before changing the discussion to vaccine distribution.

One of the governor’s attorneys filed a complaint with the state A.G.’s public integrity bureau about a potential ethics violation by Cuomo’s office.

“That’s clearly corruption,” Mayor Bill de Blasio said on Monday.

“It’s unacceptable and we won’t stand for it. If we see any attempt to lower this city’s vaccine supply as political payback, we will expose it.”

Senate GOP leader Rob Ortt agrees and sent a letter along with members of the Republican Conference to NY Senators Kirsten Gillibrand and Chuck Schumer urging D.C. to take control of the state’s vaccine distribution after this “disturbing” report.

Cuomo’s office is pushing back against these call claims.

“All choices regarding vaccines are done based on public health, not politics,” Schwartz responded.

A poll done last week by Siena College Research Institute shows that only 35 percent of New York voters want Cuomo to resign. How would that number change when this third scandal goes mainstream?
