Their anti-white narrative came crumbling down Tuesday after police announced that 21-year-old Ahmad Al Issa was the shooter. He is a Syrian refugee. His Facebook profile shows him being angry that Trump won the 2016 presidential election “thanks to racism,” posting Islamic prayers and saying Americans are “Islamophobic.” He also reportedly has mental health issues.
