Biden Sweating As Another 2024 Frontrunner Emerges

President Biden’s political team has started opposition research on possible 2024 opponents, according to some reports.

The Hill and Politico reported Tuesday that the DNC is already investigating over 20 possible GOP candidates, from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) and former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley to Tucker Carlson along with My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell.

The decision to look at Tucker Carlson, a conservative journalist, is strange so early in the process, but it shows how Democrats see him as a threat.

Biden’s campaign manager for 2020, Jennifer Dillon, is pushing the research, which has brought in around 25 people, according to insider reports. The plan is to hire 25 more staffers to work on their opposition research early.

Their plans could be completely pointless if Trump decides to jump in and challenge Biden, or whichever Democrat takes his place if he does not run for re-election.

The 78-year-old president said his intention was to run for re-election back in March.

“My plan is to seek reelection. That is my expectation,” he said, saying he “expected” to run again with VP Kamala Harris.

Biden will be 82 in 2024.

“The way I see things, I am a respecter of fate,” Biden said. “I set a goal and get things done for people I care about.”
