Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) has revealed he will not be receiving a vaccinate because he has natural immunity due to being positive for COVID-19 in 2020.
Over the weekend, the Kentucky senator said he is not seeking vaccination until he is given hard science that the immunity given by the vaccine is better than natural immunity.
Senator Paul has been a strong opponent to COVID-19 mask mandates during the pandemic. He says that each person takes their own risk and that someone who is unvaccinated gives no risk to someone who is vaccinated.
The senator’s words come as the CDC are attempting to push past a decline in demand for vaccines and as the possibility for vaccine passports cause nationwide debate.

Senator Paul has routinely held Dr. Fauci accountable for his actions concerning the coronavirus outbreak. Recently, he slammed Fauci for being political and misleading Americans just for the optics. Paul said Fauci is dictating everything Americans do based on conjecture instead of science.
