Kamala Disrespects U.S. Troops with Her Latest Tweet

VP Kamala Harris paid tribute to fallen soldiers on Sunday. But only after getting slammed for her Memorial Day tweet that ignored America’s veterans.

Her followup tweet read:

The Saturday tweet, which featured a photo of Harris smiling and read, “Enjoy the long weekend.” got immediate pushback from twitter users.

Americans condemned Harris for not remembering the sacrifices that the “long weekend” is meant to honor.

“Real misfire Kamala. It’s a long weekend but also Memorial Day, which means a lot more that our elected officials should say: a time to honor the millions of troops who have served America and who lost their lives defending our country,” Paul Szoldra, editor of the military site, Task & Purpose, said on Saturday.

“Care to tell me WHY we are having this long weekend, Kamala?” Congresswoman Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., asked on Twitter.
