Democrats have never been the sharpest knives in the drawer. Nor are they very good at hiding their corruption.
It’s only because of the MSM that they get away with anything. Thinking that the media will pretend like their evil schemes are good, Democrats push their ugly agenda in broad daylight.
That’s certainly the case with Biden and the border. He deliberately removed policies that were working to defend the border. Suddenly, we have a crisis. Yet Biden thinks he won’t be blamed.
Democrats in Congress are even more despicable. They blatantly push legislation that will give them more money and power—thinking nobody would notice. They slander and insult everyday Americans, while giving themselves raises on a regular basis.
Now, House Democrats are doing the absolute worst thing imaginable. Even as our border explodes, they are trying to slash Border Patrol’s budge. By how much. Oh, not much, only one billion dollars.
House Democrats have issued a budget proposal that includes a shocking slash to border enforcement, with a billion dollars slashed from Customs and Border Protection (CBP), among other notable cuts…
If the draft legislation is passed, the “CBP would get $14.1 billion in net discretionary appropriations, almost a billion dollars less than the current fiscal year and a half-billion dollars less than the White House requested,” per Bloomberg…
The border wall would face the biggest cut. The measure, Bloomberg said, will “rescind more than $2 billion from prior year appropriations for border barrier construction; it proposes no funding for additional Border Patrol agents or the border wall.” [Source: Daily Wire]
Democrats really think we’re stupid, huh? Even as the border is overrun with illegal aliens, House Democrats want to slash the one agency trying to maintain order.
Those budget cuts would cripple CBP and the Border Patrol. It would mean a loss of hundreds of officers, not to mention resources needed to keep our border safe. Already, our border agents are overwhelmed thanks to Biden. These cuts would practically shut down any efforts to police our border.
Of course, that’s what Democrats want. They need more illegals to flood the country, both to provide cheap labor to their globalist allies—and to fuel their welfare state. Illegal aliens are convenient pawns in the left’s socialist scheme. Not only will they drain our tax dollars dry, but Democrats conspire to let them vote in our elections.
That’s the only reason why any elected official would try to weaken our border. Why else would they push a budget that will lead to less national security? Not to mention a situation where hundreds of thousands of illegals threaten American communities, families, and jobs?
But when was the last time Democrats did anything to help American families? They passed a “stimulus” bill earlier in the year that did much more harm than good. It contributed to rising inflation, which is hurting all Americans. And they paid people not to work, so that reopening businesses struggled to stay open.
Of course, they’d make it so CBP can’t do their job. It’s not like Democrats want any enforcement at the border.
