Trump Warns Republicans Not To Accept Democrats Deal Until…

Former President Trump put out a comment on Monday pushing for Senate Republicans not to accept an infrastructure deal “until after we get correct election results.”

“Senate Republicans are getting completely savaged by Democrats on this alleged ‘bipartisan’ infrastructure agreement. Mitch McConnell and his tiny group of RINOS really wants to get a deal signed at any cost to show they can work with the Radical Liberal Democrats,” Trump said.

“It is so vital to him that will accept almost anything,” he added.

Instead of going along with Democrats, Trump pushed the Republicans to wait until they’re in a better negotiating spot.

“Don’t do an infrastructure deal now, wait until after we have better election results in 2022, and get a stronger stance,” the former president said.

The emphasis on “proper election results” seems to be intentional. Trump has repeatedly spoke about widespread fraud being responsible for his election defeat.

Trump ended his comment with strong words to his fellow conservative colleagues: “Republicans, don’t allot the Radical Democrats to play you for weak losers!”

The 2022 midterms keep pointing toward gains for conservatives. In the House, Democrats have a slim lead, with many anticipating the GOP to regain control over the chamber in 2022.

There is a 50-50 tie inside the Senate, with VP Kamala Harris serving as the tiebreaker when needed. However, a 60-vote supermajority is needed for most legislation thanks to a Senate filibuster, preventing Democrats from passing some of their top legislation during Joe Biden’s presidency.

Several important Senate seats are coming up for taking in 2022, though it is less predictable if the GOP will be able to get an advantage. Most Dem. senators up for re-election during the mid-terms have strongly partisan states.

Recently, rumors have circulated about former NFL star Herschel Walker running as a Republican Senate candidate in Georgia against Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock.

“Would it not be great if the legendary Herschel Walker went for the U.S Senate in Georgia?” Trump said in a March comment.

“He would be truly unstoppable, just like when he was playing for the Georgia Bulldogs, and in the NFL. He is also a WONDERFUL person. Run Herschel, run!” he said.
