Trump Ensures Biden’s Days In Office Are Numbered

Joe Biden has failed as president on nearly every issue. But perhaps his worst failure yet has been his handling of Afghanistan. The Democrat went against the advice of many leaders to pull our troops from the country. After twenty years of work, Afghanistan quickly fell to the Taliban. This weekend, the government crumbled as the terrorist group declared victory.

Thousands of Americans were left stranded in the foreign land. And the Afghan people, who depended on us to support their freedom, now face punishment at the hands of the Taliban. This is perhaps the worst failure of an American president since the end of the Vietnam War.

Yet, to the shock of nearly every American, Joe Biden says and does nothing. He even tried to blame this disaster on Donald Trump. Sorry, Joe, but Trump was about to score a peace deal in Afghanistan, until you took over.

Now, the 45th president is blasting Joe in no uncertain terms.

Former President Donald Trump said in a statement on Sunday that it was time for President Joe Biden to resign from office following the debacle that has unfolded in Afghanistan.

“What Joe Biden has done with Afghanistan is legendary. It will go down as one of the greatest defeats in American history!” Trump said. “It is time for Joe Biden to resign in disgrace for what he has allowed to happen to Afghanistan, along with the tremendous surge in COVID, the Border catastrophe, the destruction of energy independence, and our crippled economy.” [Source: Daily Wire]

Trump had previously explained that Biden rejected a plan his administration had worked out. The 45th president had a plan that “protected our people and our property,” not to mention preserve the existing Afghan government. Trump called Biden’s handling of Afghanistan a “complete failure through weakness, incompetence, and total strategic incoherence.”

It’s hard not to agree. Biden’s decisions on Afghanistan made no sense. We can look at some of his other terrible decisions, like with America’s energy industry, the border, or economy, and assume he was trying to appease the radical left or lobbyists. But what was he thinking, when he rejected the advice of lawmakers, foreign affairs experts, and military generals?

There was no good that could have come from a hasty Afghanistan withdrawal. The only thing we can assume is that Biden wanted the same good press Obama got after he pulled troops from Iraq. But it seems history is repeating itself once again. After Obama pulled troops, Iraq fell to ISIS. Now, even quicker, Afghanistan has fallen to the Taliban.

Joe Biden is a failure on nearly every issue. He does not know how to lead and has surrendered his vision and decision-making to even stupider staffers. While some of his other failures at home could be cushioned by America’s prosperity and hard-working citizens, this failure cannot. Afghanistan has fallen to terrorists and many fear what will happen in the coming days.

Trump’s statement might sound outlandish and unlikely, but what else can Joe Biden honestly do now?
