House Dem rejected a desire this week that would have forced immigrants into the U.S. to undergo one of three currently available Covid-19 vaccines even with mandates on Americans from President Biden’s administration.
Last week, Biden ordered that the Dept. of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Admin. (Also known as OSHA) create a rule forcing all companies with more than 100 employees to mandate the vaccine or get subjected to weekly covid-19 tests.
Joe Biden also directed the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to force vaccines for every health care worker who works at their facilities that get federal Medicaid or Medicare funding.
As other outlets have reported, Biden has seemingly not enforced such a vaccine requirement on border crossers, illegals, or Afghan refugees who come to the United States.
During a hearing for the Dem’s’ $3.5 trillion reconciliation, Congressman Darrell Issa (R-CA) put forward an amendment that would enforce the vaccine for foreigners in the United States who are trying to change their immigration status to stay in the country.
Every Dem. on the Judiciary Committee went against this vaccine mandate for immigrants while all Republicans supported the idea.
“The American people of course know that President Joe Biden is mandating vaccines for Americans while exempting people who are illegally flooding into our country and being forced into our communities without any notice,” Issa said. “And they demand that this hypocrisy end.”
The lack of a vaccine rule specifically for Afghans coming here as part of Joe Biden’s massive resettlement operation comes as outbreaks of the covid-19 and measles have happened at various United States military bases that are housing refugees temporarily.
The DHS has yet to reply to an inquiry asking for more clarification about their vaccine policy for incoming Afghans.
Also this week, Dems. similarly went against amendments that would have removed their huge amnesty for illegals out of the budget. Democrats even expanded the amnesty to illegals who are registered sex offenders, drunk drivers, and known gang members.
This comes at a time when Biden’s approval rating is already falling to record lows and this blatant hypocrisy will definitely not help to turn his numbers around.
