Only 49 percent of American voters believe President Biden has good enough “mental soundness” to be president, a Fox News poll showed.
Poll responders were asked, “Do you believe Biden has the mental ability or soundness to serve effectively as the president, or not?”
While 49 percent reported yes, 48 percent said no. When respondents were asked this question weeks before, between Sept. 7-10, 49 percent reported yes, and only 45 percent reported no, giving Biden three less points of confidence for his mental soundness.
On the question about if people believe “Joe Biden is a strong leader?” only 45 percent reported yes, which is down by four points from Oct. of 2020. Fifty-three percent reported that Joe Biden is not a strong leader, which is up eight points since Oct. 2020.
The poll also read, “Do you believe the nation has become more or less united after Biden took office?” Fifty-four percent said the nation is less united, while 37 percent reported the nation is more united since Biden took over.
The bad polling numbers on Joe Biden’s mental soundness come after the Foreign Relations Committee’s top member, Republican Senator James Risch (ID), on Sept. 14 questioned who is in charge of the Biden-Harris White House. “There are real questions as to who is making the choices,” he questioned State Dept. Secretary Antony Blinken.
“We understand for a fact that the President of the U.S. is maybe disadvantaged here, in that another person is calling shots. He can’t even talk without someone in his administration censoring or approving it,” Risch said that numerous times when the White House feed was stopped while Biden was mid-sentence looked like “a puppeteer act.”
“The president talks for himself,” Blinken said. “Anyone who attempts to stop him from saying what he wants to, from speaking his mind, would probably not have their job for long,” Blinken said.
Blinken’s supportive statements about Biden’s mental stability goes against the following events when for unknown reasons the feed was awkwardly cut from President Biden’s microphone and he was prevented from speaking:
SICK! When Biden’s asked what he’ll do if Americans are TRAPPED in Afghanistan after 8/31, he LAUGHS then his handlers cut off the audio. This is all one big joke to him. THIS IS NOT FUNNY! He needs to RESIGN immediately!
