Top Democrats Abandon Biden’s Ship As Pump Prices Skyrocket

Joe Biden’s energy secretary might not know why gas prices are getting too high. But it’s pretty obvious to anyone paying attention. Biden passed regulation that has crippled our energy production. America cannot drill for enough oil and gas to provide affordable fuel for the country. We have been left with buying expensive fuel from nations like Russia, who have no intentions of giving us a break.

Even now, Biden is mulling more plans to put the squeeze on everything trying to heat their homes this Winter. All in the name of appeasing an environmental cult that wishes we all lived in the Dark Ages.

But it seems a few Democrats are starting to chafe under the pressure. Perhaps they fear losing their jobs next year, they are demanding Biden do something about the crisis he created.

Senate Democrats on Monday begged President Joe Biden to lower seven-year high gas prices by releasing emergency oil reserves…

“In light of these pressing concerns, we ask that you consider all tools available at your disposal to lower US gasoline prices. This includes a release from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve and a ban on crude oil exports,” senators wrote.

The letter was sent by eight Democrat senators: Bob Casey (D-PA), Patrick Leahy (D-VT), Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), Ed Markey (D-MA), Tina Smith (D-MN), Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), and Sherrod Brown (D-OH). [Source: Breitbart]

Even deranged socialist Elizabeth Warren is asking Biden to address this fuel crisis. I guess the folks back home aren’t too happy about what they are seeing at the pump? These Democrats want to solve the problem by releasing some of the emergency oil reserves. Of course, that is only a temporary solution.

America needs to get back to drilling oil again. Biden’s regulations have made it impossible for many states to produce the energy they used to. We are forced to rely on nations that can jerk us around at will. Meanwhile, Biden is looking for new ways to destroy our energy sector.

While this is a good sign that Democrats are starting to wake up, it’s not nearly enough. If they really cared about fixing this problem, they’d at least look at ways to pass legislation to get it done. If Democrats and Republicans rallied together to pass a bill restricting Biden’s ability to hamper our energy sector, he wouldn’t be able to stop them.

I’m guessing there are more than enough lawmakers to overcome a veto. Just imagine how much they’d look like heroes, if they bothered to do something to help the American public.

Think that will happen? Not likely. The only way gas prices will go down is if America can get back to drilling. And that might not happen any time soon. But if the pressure continues to grow, Democrats might have to take greater measures to ensure their jobs—I mean—to help people.
