More Republicans Are Demanding Biden Take a Cognitive Test

It’s beyond parody. It’s beyond rumor. Joe Biden’s mental decline appears to be getting worse with each passing day. You know, there is a reason his handlers work so hard at keeping him out of the public eye. Why he went nearly a year without a press conference. Why, it’s the middle of February and he hasn’t given the State of Union Address, as demanded by the Constitution.

The reason should be obvious. The man is suffering from some form of mental illness.

We can’t say what kind, but the evidence is overwhelming. When he is semi-coherent during speeches and events, he appears tired, confused, and disinterested. For God’s sake, the man didn’t even care when people were falling from planes—during a crisis he created. And that’s not to talk about the many, many times he slurs his words, forgets basic details, or makes absolutely no sense.

Americans have for a long time worried about his health. And now, a growing number of Republicans are pushing for answers.

Thirty-seven GOP lawmakers joined Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) in signing a letter, including Republican leadership members House Republican Conference chairwoman Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York, GOP conference vice chairman Mike Johnson of Louisiana, Republican Study Committee chairman Rep. Jim Banks of Indiana, and several members of the GOP Doctors Caucus…

“As a former physician to three Presidents of the United States, I know what it takes mentally and physically to execute the duties of Commander-in-Chief and Head of State,” Jackson said. “Joe Biden has continually proven to me and to the world that something isn’t right. The American people deserve to have absolute confidence in their President’s cognitive ability.” [Source: Daily Wire]

Congressman Ronny Jackson has long called for Biden to take a cognitive test. And he’s not pushing politics. He is a physician and former White House doctor. In his letter, he worried that Biden could be suffering from Alzheimer’s, vascular dementia, Parkinson’s, or multiple sclerosis—based on what he’s seen.

That’s pretty troubling. It suggests Biden’s problems go well beyond a bit of memory loss. He could be suffering from a disease that would put him out for the count. Yet Democrats continue to obstruct, continue to refuse calls for a cognitive test.

Their ongoing rejection only further proves Biden is not well. If Biden was fine, he’d pass a test, right? Trump took a test, even as Democrats claimed he was unfit for office. Why shouldn’t Joe? The fact that they ignore these calls could mean they know he’s not well and don’t want the rest of us to know.

But just think about that for a minute. Democrats are knowingly keeping a sick man in office. That’s not just bad for our country. That could amount to elder abuse and worse. They are putting their own selfish, evil desires for power over the good of an entire country and the well-being of a man they claim to respect.

We can’t predict how the White House will respond to this letter. But all we can say is Republicans better continue to put the heat on.
