Bush and multiple Anti-Trump Republicans, being lead by Mitch McConnell are trying to push Doug Ducey, the establishment GOP member, to run against Mark Kelly. This is only one example of McConnell trying to thwart the influence of President Donald Trump in the party.
The establishment is now furiously minimizing President Donald Trump’s influence inside the party. Clearly it is not working. McConnell is attacking President Trump, saying he thinks Trump is hurting the GOP. Privately he has said he will not allow unelectable “goofballs” to win GOP primaries. Thus he is going against the people.
Trump is now winning the struggle. Larry Hogan from Maryland a moderate establishment pick has announced he would not run for the U.S. Senate and Ducey from Arizona has said many times he had no appetite for the seat.
McConnell has also promised that John Thune would destroy whoever runs against him. This form of rhetoric has certainly not harmed McConnell with the MAGA base who see him as the establishment anti-white politician her is, who would sooner make a deal with Schumer and Pelosi then support the MAGA agenda.
Because of these anti Trump efforts, President Donald Trump has made it certain his goal of removing Mitch McConnell. Just like Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell is a RINO who votes how he is ordered to vote by the globalists. McConnell has tried to undermine Donald Trump from the very start and maybe now he will get voted out because this is a Populist working class party now.
All of this is happening at a time when Joe Biden’s approval rating has plummeted down and it seems like whoever runs for the Republican party could have a good chance of winning. Donald Trump has not yet formally announced he is running for office in 2024, but many people speculate is almost a guaranteed possibility given the rallies he has had since “losing” in 2020.
