Democrats are facing a losing battle in the upcoming midterm elections. Americans are outraged that Biden and his party have let the country fall to pieces. Their policies triggered endless crises, including a struggling economy hammered by inflation. Inflation has been so bad, it has resulted in a pay decrease for most Americans. Wages are not keeping up and Americans have less spending power. This is directly a result of Biden’s policies supported by Democrats.
These same Democrats are going to be lucky if they survive the midterms. Americans will be eager to vote out of office liberals who supported wreckless spending, harsh lockdowns, and abusive mandates. And to desperately stave off election losses, some of them are turning on Biden. But it’s probably too little too late.
Vulnerable Democrat Rep. Abigail Spanberger (VA) agreed with a constituent during a virtual telephone town hall on Tuesday that the rising cost of inflation is a “silent tax” on Americans…
“The issue of inflation, sir. You called it a ‘silent tax,’ and I agree with you completely … The impact of inflation is one that is felt by people across our districts and across the country,” Spanberger said. [Source: Breitbart]
Spanberger has an uphill battle defending her seat in Virginia, which just elected their first Republican governor in decades. She has to distance herself from Biden after the Democratic candidate for governor embraced Biden and lost big time. But her words are falling on deaf ears since she whole-heartedly supported Biden’s agenda.
Camille Gallo, a spokeswoman for the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), the House Republican campaign arm, said, “Abigail Spanberger said it herself: She supported hiking taxes on Virginians by supporting Biden’s reckless spending sprees.” [Source: Breitbart]
After supporting Biden’s drastic spending bills (including the “Build Back Better” bill), Spanberger has tried to distance herself from Old Joe. She tried to criticize his administration to appear moderate. And she hid the fact that she welcomed Biden when he visited her district. Only after she was confronted about it, did she reveal she was seeing him over social media.
This woman is desperate to keep Joe and his failed policies are arm’s length. Even though, she supported those very policies from day one. She can talk a big talk today, but voters won’t forget that she is part of the problem. She supported major spending bills that injected new cash into the economy, lowering the dollar, and triggering inflation. The very inflation she is attacking today, she had a hand in creating.
And that’s true for many more Democrats in the House and Senate. Do they really think they can hide that from voters come November? I doubt it.
