Politico argued this Monday that Presidents’ Day should now be canceled for including former President Donald Trump within the holiday.
In an article called “It’s Time To Cancel Presidents Day,” the publication said that Presidents’ Day is not woke enough and that would “do a disservice to history” and “is less about genuine respect for the history of America than an insult to it.”
More specifically, the article says Presidents’ Day is irrelevant because the holiday is now connected to “Donald Trump’s presidency” while also discounting “the racial reckoning caused by George Floyd’s murder,” which allegedly led to a “widespread awakening of interest in the history of America.”
Trying to solve a problem that doesn’t exist, Politico wants to resolve the conflict of Presidents’ Day by just canceling it:
“The presidency, so many parts of American culture, is now in an ideological crossfire between liberals and conservatives. Is there a way the center could find its voice in arguments about the U.S. presidency?”
“Yes, there is. A good way to begin would be to cancel the day we celebrate today: “Presidents Day.”
“The name means we honor Washington and Lincoln no less than Warren G. Harding or Richard Nixon or Donald Trump.”
In its conclusion, Politico says we should “keep a day to reflect about the lessons of the past,” like George Floyd’s murder – “true history” – and ignore the holiday that has Trump’s presidency, which is only “mythological history, and an invitation to complacency and arrogance.”
This comes at a time when the anti-white left has increased its actions against White Americans. The ongoing push to discriminate against White Americans not only is not being fought against, but many Republican establishment figures are supporting the agenda. With many RINOs also supporting mass migration as a way to solve the low birth rates in America.
The left will never stop pushing the fake “racist” narrative until it has achieved complete domination over White Americans. This could come sooner than you want to believe, with more and more white children being brainwashed in schools to hate themselves, the left is growing a generation that is trained to surrender and accept their own destruction.
