It’s become perfectly clear from the confirmation hearings that Biden’s pick for the Supreme Court should get nowhere near the bench. Judge Jackson’s record came out crystal clear. She is lenient on sex offenders and radical, Islamic terrorists. She favors people who teach toxic, critical race theory. And she refused to define the word “woman” for fear of offending transgender activists.
We don’t have to guess how she’ll rule on the bench. She was championed by radical leftist groups, who coerced Biden into picking her. Democrats don’t care about any of that, desperate to get a black woman on the bench in a pathetic attempt to save the midterm elections. Republicans had the power to block the nomination. But three traitors stabbed the GOP in the back. First, it was RINO Susan Collins. Now, the usual suspects are turning on their own party.
So-called Republican Sens. Lisa Murkowski and Mitt Romney both announced their intentions to support Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation to the Supreme Court. This makes three Republican turncoats who are supporting the nomination of the notoriously weak-on-crime Jackson, whose shameful record of leniency in sentencing child pornographers, apparently didn’t faze them.
“While I do not expect to agree with every decision she may make on the Court, I believe that she more than meets the standard of excellence and integrity,” Romney added.

Instead of standing their ground and defending conservative values (the reason they were elected), these three swamp-dwellers bowed to the liberal establishment. We know why Collins did it. She won’t be up for re-election until 2026; she might not even run again after that. She is keeping the swamp happy, until retirement. Mitt Romney isn’t up for re-election until 2024. He probably assumes he’s already a goner and is just trying to win favor with the D.C. elite.
Sen. Murkowski must be trying to go out with a band. She is up for re-election this year. And she has a strong primary rival with the backing of President Trump. The odds are long that she will be around for another term. Perhaps she is just trying to cash in as much as she can, so she can get a cushy lobbyist job after this year?
Regardless of the reasons, these three senators are making sure the left will have enough votes to put a socialist onto the Supreme Court. They are bowing to identity politics and the “woke” agenda, betraying what values Republicans stand for. I doubt they have any good excuses for the folks back home, for why they are voting for a radical activist. But they don’t seem to care. These three have long bowed to the D.C. establishment. They care more about being accepted by the swamp, than they do upholding the values of the folks back home.
