Trump Proves RINOs Wrong In The Most Glorious Way Possible

This week, President Trump visited Macomb County, Michigan to support several MAGA-friendly candidates. My colleague Tom LaDuke has the account of the event in Donald Trump Visits Michigan to Make Some Critical Endorsements for November 2022.

For the GOP, Michigan is a must-win state. It has the ability to deliver the victory in a presidential election, but Democrat strongholds are rife with irregularities that make it appear as though real voting takes place after polls close; see You Won’t Believe How Much Vote Fraud Was Exposed By The Michigan Recount.

I’m not sure whether or how Donald Trump’s appearance in Michigan is linked, but this week, Congressman Fred Upton announced his retirement.

“Rep. Fred Upton, a long-serving Republican in the House of Representatives, has announced his retirement rather than seek reelection in 2022.”

“In January 2021, Upton was one of the ten House GOP members that voted to impeach then-Pres. Donald Trump, arguing in a statement that “our nation cannot and will not tolerate any attempt by any president to impede the peaceful transition of power.” Now, Upton is the fourth of those ten lawmakers to retire from Congress, following Reps. John Katko (R-N.Y.), Anthony Gonzalez (R-Ohio), and Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.).”

Upton whined about how his district was divided in redistricting, but the old and new maps display an R+9 advantage. Upton has a lot of money on hand, but he’s running against Representative Bill Huizenga, an enraged electorate, and a terrible voting record. So rather than fight, Upton is taking his retirement and moving on.

Upton is one of ten Vichy Republicans to support impeaching President Trump based on the bullsh** phone call with Ukrainian Pres. Zelensky. Peter Meijer (MI) and Liz Cheney (WY) are both dead in the water. The Wyoming Republican party has disavowed Liz Cheney. Peter Meijer is losing his Republican primary against Trump-endorsed John Gibbs by a long shot.

The more the media speculates about President Trump’s hold on the Republican Party and predicts a break between him and the party, the more he confounds them. It’s quite probable that he’ll have a hand in derailing every GOP Representative who voted to impeach him and determining the 2024 campaign’s direction
