The media might not be talking about it, but the border crisis is still raging. Over 2 million illegals crossed the border last year. Already in 2022, one million have crossed. Border communities in Texas and other states are getting the brunt of this problem. Americans are in constant danger as drug runners, cartel members, and human traffickers waltz into our country.
Unfortunately, an old Supreme Court ruling prevents states from deporting illegals (even though they are enter via those states). Gov. Abbott of Texas has called on Biden and Harris for help. Neither have responded to his calls. So, the governor came up with a plan: bus these illegals from border communities, straight to D.C. And he’s doing just that. Now, Sen. Ted Cruz has something to say.

“The bus pulled up at approximately 8 a.m. local time, blocks away from the U.S. Capitol building. Fox News has learned that they came from the Del Rio sector in Texas, after coming to the U.S. from Colombia, Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela,” the report noted.
“Upon the bus’s arrival in Washington, D.C., individuals disembarked one by one except for family units who exited together. They checked in with officials and had wristbands they were wearing cut off before being told they could go,” Fox added. [Source: Daily Wire]
Abbott is bussing illegal aliens to D.C., to force Biden and Democrats to face the crisis they are creating. I wonder how long Democrats will tolerate hundreds, perhaps thousands, of illegals occupying this city? Local city officials won’t be happy, as citizens suffer from crime committed by aliens. It’s very easy to ignore this crisis, when it’s thousands of miles away.
It’s different, when it’s in your backyard.
Truth be told, this won’t even be enough for Biden to change his policy. Biden’s administration opened the border deliberately, obeying the radical left. Progressives want more illegal aliens flooding the country, so they can exploit them for votes. Or why else do they oppose rules like voter ID and signature verification? In some blue cities, they openly let illegals vote.
Much more needs to be done before this crisis is ended. Congress needs to pass laws forcing the president to protect the border. Biden needs to understand he cannot get away with leaving our border open.
But in order for that to happen, Congress needs to get a backbone. Perhaps that won’t happen, until Republicans are back in charge?
