There’s an increasingly common adage out there. When you go woke, you go broke. Ever since 2016, liberal-owned companies have amped up leftist propaganda. Companies that should have nothing to do with politics have pushed the left’s woke agenda. That’s also been true for celebrities and athletes.
Guess what? None of them have been happy with the results.
Companies that push woke politics are often hit with major backlash from customers. And it’s not just small companies and companies with failing business plans that are getting hurt. Now, major industry leaders are watching their dominance wither away, as they push the left’s radical agenda. That includes the once-leader in streaming, Netflix.
Netflix is facing what can only be described as a nightmare scenario as customers continue to abandon the far-left streaming entertainment giant in droves, threatening the company’s financial stability.
Shares of Netflix plummeted more than 20 percent in after-hours trading Tuesday after the streamer reported catastrophic results for the first quarter…
So far this year, Netflix shares are down a staggering 55 percent.
Netflix, which still has a production deal with Barack and Michelle Obama, said it lost 200,000 subscribers for the first quarter of the year — a huge miss for the company, which had expected to add 2.5 million subscribers…
On Tuesday, Netflix made no reference to customers who have grown increasingly alienated by its woke content and close Democratic party affiliations. Netflix’s top executives backed the campaigns of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, as well as those of radical leftists like Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon, whose soft-on-crime policies have led to a spike in homicides and other violent crimes. Netflix is claiming its sudden drop in users is due to “password sharing and increased competition” have been eating away their numbers. Not sure I’m buying it. Most people are fine with having two or three streaming services they like. And password sharing? Do you mean to tell me that 200,000 users suddenly dumped their accounts to get on their dad’s?
With 2.5 million more to follow?
Netflix is simply refusing to admit that its increasingly woke content is driving users away. Soon after the Obamas (and many of his former administration staff) joined the company, they started to get rid of content people liked in exchange for original series. Those series, ranging from cooking shows, food documentaries, to street magic, were injected with the wokest of the woke content.
Included but not limited to gender theory, gay marriage, and radical feminism (in one show, a woman married herself. I kid you not.).
Do you think that has something to do with your massive drop in users, Netflix?
Don’t worry, though. Netflix will in no way stop pushing this radical agenda. They, like most of Hollywood, are determined to force Americans to embrace their extreme views on marriage, sexuality, gender, God, and everything else.
It doesn’t matter how many users they lose, they’ll do this come hell or high water.
