Whiny Socialist Wants to Sell Her Expensive EV to Stick It to Elon

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claims to be a socialist. But ever since she was elected to Congress, she has been enjoying a life only a rich capitalist could acquire. She has attended gala events, including at the Met. She enjoys private security, lives in expensive homes, and even drives a top-of-the-line electric vehicle.

I know she might claim that driving a Tesla is “good for the environment.” But no socialist could afford a car that costs that much. But it seems as if this “climate activist” is reconsidering her purchase. This “anti-capitalist” Democrat was outraged that Elon Musk was buying Twitter, to restore free speech.

Now, she wants to dump her EV.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) now wants to sell her Tesla, following a Twitter dustup with tech billionaire Elon Musk last month.

The socialist darling bought a Model 3 Tesla back in 2020, which now sell for about $46,990. But after Musk teased her online, she’s singing a different tune.

“At the time, it was the only EV that could get me from New York to Washington on like one, or one-and-a-half charges,” AOC told Bloomberg News this week. “I would love to switch.” […]

“Ocasio-Cortez bought her Model 3 to travel between Washington and her Bronx-Queens district after Covid-19 hit in 2020,” the Bloomberg report noted. “Now, the New York representative wants to ditch it for an electric vehicle made by unionized workers.”

Last month, Musk teased the far-Left representative after she complained online about billionaires for the umpteenth time. “Stop hitting on me, I’m really shy,” Musk tweeted at AOC. [Source: Daily Wire]

“At the time”? Girl, you bought that car two years ago. Not much has changed in electric vehicle technology. Last time I checked, Tesla was the only company that is producing quality EVs that can go long distances on just one or two charges (not to mention their “super charge” feature that recharges the battery in record time).

Don’t pretend like you are dumping that car over “union” concerns. Unless you want to pay even more money on a Fisker (which may or may not have the same longevity or union workers), you are crap out of luck.

We all know what’s really going on. This far-left progressive (who is by no means a socialist) is angry that a rich innovator (who criticizes Democrats) is buying Twitter and ending its streak of censorship. AOC has enjoyed spreading misinformation and outright nonsense online for years. But if Musk gets his way, she will no longer be able to do so.

And conservatives will have just as much of a reach, spreading their ideas, than she will. The fact that she was driving around in a car made by a man who is doing this (and who promises to vote Republican) was just too much.

Which proves AOC (like many leftists) makes decisions based on irrational emotions, not common sense.

Does a person like that belong in Congress?
