Far-left Democrats have never had the “pulse” of the American people. But they seem to have convinced themselves—after the questionable 2020 Election—that their time has come. They got fraudulent Joe Biden into the White House and bullied him into submission. Perhaps now the American people will embrace their socialist agenda and they can get to work dismantling the United States?
Not quite. This week’s primary elections in California struck a massive blow against the progressive left. San Francisco, arguably the bluest city, recalled their far-left DA. And a former Republican is beating leftist primary candidate for LA mayor.
And now, progressives are starting to realize, they are in big trouble.
After a disappointing performance in California’s primary elections, “reality has intruded” on progressive Democrats’ midterm hopes, according to a report.
Progressive Democrats suffered multiple losses in the deep-blue state of California on Tuesday.
“The far left was talking a big game at the start of this cycle, but reality has intruded. Democratic voters keep saying, over and over, that they do not want what the far left is selling,” said Third Way think tank co-founder Matt Bennett…
In southern California, Republican-turned-Democrat Los Angeles mayoral candidate Rick Caruso forced a runoff election with former Democrat Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA).
Bass earned 37 percent of the vote compared to Caruso’s 42.1 percent, which is short of the 50 percent necessary to avoid a runoff election. [Source: Breitbart]
The only reason former Republican and hard-on-crime Caruso isn’t the Democrats’ candidate is because he failed to get 50% of the vote. But he still beat the far-left pick Bass 41.2-37. In a runoff race, he is in a good position to dominate.
This is devastating to the radical left. If their progressive candidates are losing in California, then a massive bloodletting is in store in states with many more conservative voters.
The reason they have big in California this week is because liberal voters are rejecting these progressive candidates. If Democrats are dumping these leftists, imagine what it will look like in moderate and conservative regions?
Reality might be setting in, but the left is far from changing. Even as the ax comes down on their proverbial necks, they won’t change their agenda. The only hope for other Democrat candidates is to run as close to the center as they can. Save themselves before it’s too late.
The question, of course, is are they smart enough to do that?
My money’s on… no way.
