CNN Analyst Blasts Biden’s Poor Approval–Says It’s ‘Awful’

Joe Biden entered the White House with things mostly intact. The country was recovering from COVID, the emphasis on recovering. States were reopening and Americans were getting back to work. The economy was rebounding after 2020, thanks to Donald Trump’s pro-business agenda.

Jump to today and things couldn’t look worse. Inflation is out of control, gas prices are surging, consumer sentiment is in the gutter, and there is little hope for improvement in the short term.

Nobody in their right mind can blame Republicans for this disaster. All of this happened with Democrats in power. In fact, if it weren’t for Republican leaders at the state level, there would have been no recovery over the last 18 months. And now, even CNN is giving Biden the bad news.

Tuesday evening, CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten had a pretty pointed description of how Americans feel about President Joe Biden‘s job performance in the Oval Office as well as the state of the economy — in a word, it’s “awful.” […]

“You know you look at the consumer sentiment right now, and what do you see? This is the worst consumer sentiment ever measured by the University of Michigan going all the way back since 1952.” […]

Anderson then asked Enten, “And how does President Biden’s performance rate?”

“Awful, I mean,” Enten began to say.

“I knew that was the answer,” Anderson interjected with a laugh. [Source: Daily Wire]

The network execs might not like it, but CNN’s senior data reporter can’t lie about what he’s seeing. Harry Enten revealed that consumer sentiment is worse than it’s been since 1952. The Consumer Price Index hasn’t been this bad since 1974.

And Americans are blaming one man: Joe Biden. Enten literally said Biden’s performance rate is “awful.” Even Anderson couldn’t argue with that.

It’s pretty shocking to think Democrats thought they could oust Trump and do a better job, in the midst of a paralyzing pandemic. Did they really think the tremendous success of 2017-2019 was just a fluke?

They pushed an aging politician into office, thinking they could inject leftist policies into a struggling ecosystem and thought it would work.

Only now are they seeing what a massive mistake that was.

You could argue that Democrats were doing this on purpose. Tank the economy to justify radical socialist reforms. But for that to have been the case, Americans would have had to assume the economic crises weren’t the Democrats fault.

But everyone with a brain seems to be blaming Joe Biden. You can’t tank the economy and expect people to let you “save” it. The country knows we’d be better off with someone more competent than Biden.

And that is going to be reflected in this midterm cycle.
