Democrats’ New Bill (In Response To Abortion) Is Beyond Insane

If you’ve paid attention to the lunacy on the left following Friday’s Supreme Court decision regarding Roe v. Wade, this news will not surprise you in the least. That said, this is one of the most ridiculous reactions I’ve ever seen. Yet, that is. Are you ready for a real winner?

An Oklahoma State Democrat has stated that he will propose a bill requiring every male in the state, upon reaching puberty, to have a vasectomy. No joke. There’s also a condition.

As ludicrous as the legislator’s scheme is, his exception sounds a lot like Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger’s early goals and Adolf Hitler’s warped vision of an Aryan Nation.

The forced vasectomies, as advertised by the Occupy Democrats, would be “only” reversible when males reach a financial and emotional stability stage.

Yes. And who would make those judgments? Here’s how their message read:

“BREAKING: A Democratic representative in Oklahoma is preparing to introduce a bill that would require each male, upon reaching puberty, to have a compulsory vasectomy that is only reversible when they reach financial and emotional stability.”

No, that doesn’t sound like a police state in which political control is used to limit population growth.

As reported by Fox News, Oklahoma state representative Mickey Dollens argued his proposal was “tongue and cheek,” intended only as a comedic counter to the Republican-controlled legislature’s abortion ban. Was it? I’m not sure. But I do know that the closer something is to reality, the more amusing it becomes. In this scenario, it’s quite hilarious.

According to my colleague Susie Moore, however, Oklahoma now has the “most stringent” abortion law in the United States.

To Dollens, I have to assume that if his proposal was “tongue in cheek,” as he claims, the obviously left-wing Democrat would have jumped on it with both feet if it had passed quickly through the state legislature.

“The Oklahoma bill that criminalizes abortions does not just prohibit the procedure itself. It also allows individuals to sue physicians for performing an abortion and defines life as beginning at “fertilization.”  Here’s an original idea: vasectomies, which would become the first Oklahoma legislation regulating the male reproductive system if enacted. There will be no more unwanted pregnancies due to this measure.”
