Biden’s Energy Secretary Violated Federal Law, Gets Slap on Wrist

Just how lawless is the Biden administration? Well, they willfully ignore federal laws that require the government to protect the border. They violated our constitutional rights by demanding we get an unreversible medical procedure. And they have ignored numerous crises, despite taking vows to protect the American public.

But that’s all icing on the cake of what has been the worst presidency in our recent history. Nobody within Biden’s administration has any concern for our laws or Constitution. That’s especially true for his crooked Energy Secretary. She has ignored the gas crisis, pushing electric vehicles, even while she owned stock in an EV company.

And now, we are learning she broke the law but will receive no penalties.

Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm violated the Hatch Act during a 2021 Instagram Live interview with “Marie Claire” magazine, according to a report by the U.S. Office of Special Counsel.

The federal law bars some federal government employees from using their official authority or influence to impact the results of an election…

“”The good news is that … marching and that voting gave Democrats a bare majority, but a majority, in the House in the Senate.”

[…]

However, the office concluded that Granholm did not knowingly violate the act, because she “had not received significant training about [its] use of official authority prohibition.” As a result, she was received a warning letter. [Source: Just the News]

Oh, what a joke. Energy Secretary Granholm used her authority to promote and celebrate the election of Democrats to Congress. That is in violation of the Hatch Act, which prohibits government officers from trying to influence an election.

Yet this bogus OSC refuses to do anything about it because they claim she “did not knowingly violate the act.”

Bull crap. There is nothing in our laws that makes you immune from a penalty, simply because of ignorance. Try telling the IRS you didn’t know you were supposed to pay your taxes. Or a cop who pulled you over for speeding that you didn’t know what the speed limit was.

You see, ignorance of the law does not mean you’re barred from consequences. But time and again, Democrats watch each other’s backs with this bogus claim.

Because you can’t prove someone didn’t know the law. Granholm will just shrug her shoulders.

And claim she was given “training” on this law? Um… she is a government official. How did she not know about this law? She was a governor before this. Give me a break. She is the head of a federal agency and she wasn’t trained?

Yet more proof that the D.C. swamp goes out of its way to protect its crooked members. And more reason to vote these scum bags out.
