Woke Critics Slam Chris Pratt’s New Series–but It Ends up Number One on Streaming

In what must eat up leftists in Hollywood, one of the most likable and successful actors is Chris Pratt. He went from being a bumbling, yet lovable oaf on a sitcom, to one of movie’s biggest draws.

But he’s also an outspoken Christian who refuses to embrace woke ideology.

Leftists have tried to cancel him for years, but like Joe Rogan and Dave Chappelle, they’ve failed. It seems the entire critic community is out to get him. Because his recent Amazon streaming series, “The Terminal List,” was almost entirely panned by “professional” critics. Their beef? The show isn’t loaded with woke, left-wing, feminist, or racist propaganda.

But Chris got the last laugh.

Season one of the series is sporting a rough 37% approval rating from critics. BuzzFeed deemed it “an unhinged Right-wing revenge fantasy,” and a Variety review called the series “a dour, miserable sit, one that would be tough to take as a two-hour film, and has been inexplicably ‘roided up to eight hours.”

Audience scores, though, tell a different story. The show is boasting an impressive 93% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes from the general audience, with comments expressly calling out film critics.

“Shocked at the harsh reviews from critics,” one person wrote. “This series was highly enjoyable. Full of twists and suspense and Chris Pratt was great.” […]

“Critics have no idea what they’re talking about,” another slammed. “This show is insanely good. Could not stop watching.” [Source: Daily Wire]

Questionable review site “Rotten Tomatoes” lists the critic score of Pratt’s new show at 37%. That is flop territory, as the vast majority of critics seemingly hated the show. But their reason was because it featured a strong male lead (who served in the Armed Forces) who doesn’t cater to the limp-wristed, liberal agenda.

Much like a Tom Cruise movie, the series pleased and excited fans, who are giving it rave reviews. So much so, that the show was number one on the streaming service (which is more than we can say for their “woke” Lord of the Rings series, which will most certainly be a failure).

This should not be a shock to anyone, at this point. Democrats have long polluted television and movies with their leftist propaganda. Once beloved franchises like Marvel, Star Wars, Lightyear, and more have been ruined with feminist, gay, and CRT ideology. It won’t be long until we get a transgender Batman.

But actors like Pratt continue to put the audience ahead of the left’s agenda. And it seems that streaming services like Amazon and Netflix are the last places left that are willing to provide content that is not corrupted with liberal talking points. How long that will last, we don’t know.

At least, in this case, the good guys won one.
