Old Joe Gets Abandoned By His Former Allies

The NY Times published an article suggesting that President Joe Biden is not fit for office. The left-leaning media outlet stated that Biden’s age is a “troublesome topic” on which the Democratic Party must address.

According to the text “At 79, Biden Is Testing the Perimeters of Age and the Presidency,” President Biden’s forthcoming four-day Middle East trip was originally planned to be connected to his recent European journey. However, an unidentified official referred to it as “bonkers” for Biden to go on an “unnecessarily tiring” trip.

“And, as Mr. Biden plans to run for another term, his age has become an increasing liability for him, his team, and the Democratic Party,” Peter Baker wrote – the New York Times chief White House correspondent.

The article stated that if Biden were to win the 2024 election, he would be the oldest president in American history, 86 years old at the conclusion of his term. Democratic strategists told The New York Times that they do not think Biden should seek reelection in 2020.

Last month, a Harvard poll suggested that 64% of American voters think “Biden is displaying signs that he’s too old to be president.”

Over a dozen current and previous White House senior officials and advisors have expressed concerns that Mr. Biden appears older than he did several years ago, which they consider to be an issue that can’t be fixed by typical White House tactics like personnel changes or new messaging plans. They wrote that while the president’s “energy level, while remarkable for his age, is not the same as it was, some advisers discreetly watch out for him.”

He frequently shuffles when he walks, and aides are concerned he will trip on a wire. “During public events, he stumbles over words, and they wait to see whether or not he makes it to the conclusion without making a mistake,” said the Times.

“Mr. Biden’s public appearances have bolstered this perception,” the Times article concluded. His presentations may be dull and mechanical. He has been known to lose his train of thought and struggle to recall names, as well as exhibit bouts of forgetfulness. “He frequently refers to Ms. Harris, as ‘President Harris,’ it added. Mr. Biden, who overcame a childhood stutter, bungles over words like kleptocracy.”

“He has referred to the country as Iranian when he was meaning to say Ukrainian, and repeatedly called Mark Warner, a Democratic senator from Virginia, ‘John,’ confusing him with the previous late Republican Senator from Virginia bearing the same name.”

Biden’s inner circle is scared of the president catching COVID-19 and his staff is checked for coronavirus every week and required to wear wristbands that are colored on the day of their testing. Aides who are scheduled to be in a meeting with Biden must get tested the morning of the meeting and use N95 mask.
