Republicans Mock Democrats For Their Incoming Midterm Demise

Markwayne Mullin, a candidate for the Senate in Oklahoma who is backed by President Trump, warned Democrats that the red wave is on its way. Rep. Mullin stated during an interview with Fox News on Saturday that Americans are excited to vote for Republicans following Joe Biden’s poor performance in international and domestic policies.

Biden’s botched exit from Afghanistan, his terrible policies that have led to record-high prices and gasoline costs, as well as other aspects of his agenda are all causing havoc for Americans. Mullin emphasized that America First fighters should follow Trump’s example if they would like to be effective leaders who will take on the Washington elite.

“He was fighting for his country every day,” Mullin added. “There is no other president in the history of this country who has taken as much beatings as he did. Board Magazine even stated that he is the only president in history to have lost money while being president. They said that his net worth had dropped by $680 million, which means he is not doing this for fame and money; rather, he is doing it because he loves this nation, and we are all in this fight together.”

The former MMA fighter went on to bash Biden’s energy policies, saying his war on American energy will sink the economy even further. He blasted Biden for halting oil production on several US rigs and pipelines, claiming that Trump had to undo similar actions taken by the Obama administration in order to bring down gasoline costs. Mullin believes if America was self-sufficient in energy, fuel costs would drop dramatically, which would spread into other sectors.

He added that it is critical for the nation’s people to go out and vote in November for Trump’s America First agenda, as well as his candidates who proudly fly the MAGA banner. He said that in order to take control of the upper chamber, the Republican Party will need to win more seats than are required for a majority.

Mullin criticized the fact that there are numerous Republicans, including Susan Collins (R-Maine), Mitt Romney (R-Utah) and Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), who lack party loyalty. He further stated that to provide an effective check on the Biden White House and his cabinet officials so they do not conspire to undermine the people’s will, a large majority is required.

“We have to put some pressure on these agencies,” he continued. “These agency heads are answer to the Senate. We confirm them so that they can go sit in that office and we put a lot of pressure on those individuals when they try to do things outside of Congress’s will.”

Meanwhile, Mullin is anticipated to run against T.W. Shannon (R-Okla.) in the upcoming Republican primary runoff election on August 23.
