Senate Democrats passed a new bill that will increase government spending and ramp up taxes. The “Inflation Reduction Act” throws billions at “green” initiatives, while increasing taxes on corporations and fossil fuels. The result will be increased pain on working Americans, right as a recession and inflation rage.
Democrats, without evidence, claim this bill will reduce inflation. They don’t explain how taking more money from hurting Americans and wasting it on “climate change” is going to help. And now, a new poll reveals how many Americans believe it will.
Most Americans said the Democrats’ latest climate-centric spending spree will not help reduce inflation, a survey from The Economist/YouGov found…
Overall, 59 percent said the climate-centric measure would not reduce inflation. Of those, 23 percent said it “will not change” inflation, and 36 percent said it would actually “increase” inflation…
The House Freedom Caucus blasted the “spending bonanza,” revealing that the measure has “far more to do with enacting their socialist ‘Green New Deal’ agenda than truly helping Americans suffering from staggering 9.1% inflation.” [Source: Breitbart]
Democrats called this massive spending bill the “Inflation Reduction Act.” They must have had a good laugh over that one. The bill only throws billions toward Democrats’ green energy allies, while raising taxes on just about everyone.
The bill will force companies to outsource more jobs overseas, just to deal with increased taxes. And that’s just for starters.
A new poll revealed that most voters don’t think the bill will reduce inflation. Fifty-nine percent believed it will do nothing. Most of those believed it will actually increase inflation.
They are probably right. You don’t fix inflation by taking more money from Americans and punishing companies already slammed by increased costs.
Inflation started thanks to Biden’s previous spending bill. It was made much worse because Joe shut down American energy production. It has continued because Joe refuses to lift a finger to fix his mistakes.
But now his party is rushing to spend billions of our money, claiming it’s going to help. In reality, it will do nothing for “climate change” or inflation. It is just another set of smoke and mirrors from a corrupt party that is more interested in rewarding their rich allies than helping Americans.
As inflation roars into the Fall, Americans will be faced with a choice. Are they going to keep supporting a party that robs them blind? Or are they finally going to wake up and vote these bloodsuckers out of office?
We don’t have much time left to decide.
