The good news came out recently, that disgraced federal employee Anthony Fauci will be leaving his job at the end of the year. Fauci single-handedly doomed America by pushing extreme measures to “slow the spread” of COVID—even though there was little evidence to support it.
He became a darling of the liberal media, which fanned the flames of fear at the start of the pandemic. The left loved Fauci because they used him as a tool to hammer Trump over the Wuhan flu. But it didn’t take long for Americans to grow sick and tired of seeing this smug man’s face. And he was eventually outed for lying to America—not to mention supporting inhumane experiments around the world.
And, believe it or not, a left-wing organization was outside his offices, celebrating his retirement.
PETA is throwing a farewell party “complete with party hats, sparklers, and signs” Tuesday for Dr. Anthony Fauci who announced his plans to step down as NIAID director in December.
Fauci has won PETA’s “#1 Dinosaur” title for his rampant animal experimentation. According to a PETA press release: “Under Fauci’s direction, NIAID has harmed and killed millions of animals, including tens of thousands of monkeys in failed AIDS experiments—which haven’t produced a single vaccine to prevent HIV—and dogs who have been subjected to outrageously painful and pointless poisoning tests.” [Source: Breitbart]
It’s not only conservatives and freedom-loving Americans who hated Fauci. Even the far-left animal rights group PETA blamed the long-serving government official for inhumane experiments done on animals.
PETA was quick to condemn Fauci after news came out about his agency’s support of these tests outside of the country. The NIAID funded experiments in Asia and Africa that would have been illegal by American standards. Those included horrific treatment of Beagle puppies, not to mention thousands of monkeys that were subjected to experimental vaccines.
It’s pretty ironic that, in the end, Fauci is hated by liberals and conservatives. Conservatives blasted the man for pushing extreme lockdown measures, mask mandates, and vaccines—all the while showing little knowledge in the very area he claimed to be an expert.
And liberals hate the man for torturing animals and trying to keep it from the public.
But there is the lingering issue of his involvement in Wuhan. Sen. Rand Paul, among many others, are demanding answers from the NIAID director over the agency’s support of the Wuhan lab. Evidence strong points to Fauci and other federal agencies’ funding of research that led to COVID-19’s creation.
Fauci has done a good job of ducking these questions. And the current administration, along with the media, have protected him as well. But as soon as he is no longer valuable to the left as a prop to spread fear and hysteria, all bets are off.
If Republicans retake Congress in November, Fauci’s problems with PETA will seem pretty small.
