If there’s one thing you can count on, is that you can’t count on government employees. As someone who worked for the federal government for years, trust me. People get into a position at a federal agency and they proceed to do nothing for decades. Most coast until they retire, earning a government pension on the taxpayer’s dime.
There is nothing more bloated, useless, and corrupt than the federal government. Did you know white-collar federal employees have a union? And they can sue the government for more money.
Joe Biden’s pathetic leadership has resulted in historically bad inflation. Most believe we are already in a recession. Americans can’t fill up their cars, buy groceries, or afford the basics. But, let me be the first to reassure you that, thanks to Joe, those worthless government cronies will be getting a raise.
President Joe Biden is planning to give federal employees a substantial pay raise in 2023.
In letters to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Vice President Kamala Harris in her capacity as President of the Senate, Biden announced his plans to give federal government employees an across-the-board pay raise of 4.1%, with an average locality-based pay raise of 0.5%; meaning some 2.1 million federal employees will receive raises of 4.6%, on average. There isn’t a more entitled, selfish, and non-productive group of people than federal employees (except for maybe Zoomers on TikTok). These are the people who delay your tax refunds, crush small businesses with regulations, and delay permits for companies. And this group of people is benefitting from Bidenflation, with roughly a 4.6% pay raise.
Pay raises usually come in response to inflation. So, Biden is admitting that his failed policies are forcing him to increase compensation for federal workers. If he didn’t, they’d sure as hell sue to get it. But this raise isn’t even keeping up with inflation, which has jumped by 9% year over year.
I’m sure this news is comforting to those single moms waiting on empty restaurant tables. Those families who try to make ends meet by driving for Uber–losing thousands of dollars a month in high gas bills. To the kids who can’t even have decent lunches, because groceries are getting so high.
Damn, Biden sure knows how to take care of his own. Federal workers are overwhelmingly Democrat and the “president” is making sure they stay happy going into the midterms.
And let’s not forget where these raises come from. The federal government isn’t selling anything. Every last person collecting bigger paychecks is taking it out of yours. Federal agencies leech off the working American, providing little in return.
Now, thanks to Joe, they are getting more.
