Trump Mocks Biden’s “Classified” Photo Release

In a court filing Tuesday night about the FBI’s investigation into papers at Mar-a-Lago, former President Donald Trump claimed that the documents in question were declassified in response to a picture of supposedly secret materials that had been disclosed by government prosecutors.

Terrible the way the FBI flung documents about carelessly on the floor during the Mar-a-Lago raid (perhaps to make it look like I did it! ), and then started snapping images of them for the public to see. They supposedly wanted to keep them a secret. Good thing I Declassified! On Truth Social, Trump made a post.

The National Archives and Data Administration (NARA) informed the Justice Department that some material Trump had submitted to them in January 2022 had “a lot of secret records,” and the FBI feared there were more. As a result, the FBI conducted a raid on Trump’s Florida home in August in search of classified documents.

In May 2022, Breitbart News quoted former Trump administration staffer Kash Patel as saying that although the records given to NARA may have been designated as “secret,” Trump had previously declassified them.

In a subsequent interview with Breitbart News, Patel made it clear that he was speaking of records that had been sent to NARA in January and that he was unaware of the records uncovered in the August raid on Mar-a-Lago.

This snapshot of papers taken during the Aug. 8 FBI search of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida is from a court record the Department of Justice filed on Aug. 30, 2022, and has been partially redacted by the FBI.

In the May interview with Breitbart News, Patel stated that the material contained in the documents delivered to NARA in January covered a wide range of topics, including everything from Russiagate to the Ukraine impeachment farce to significant national security issues of enormous public interest. “Anything the president believed the American people had a right to know is in there,” Patel continued.

The same personnel who were involved in the discredited FBI probe into Russian connection are also involved in the current inquiry, Patel claimed in an interview with Breitbart News on Saturday.

The FBI counterintelligence division of the DOJ is being led by the same individuals who spearheaded the Russiagate probe. Devin and I learned the information during Russiagate, and they all are aware of it. And everyone is aware of what Trump never shared from that large binder of information, he said.

“The records won’t ever be made public,” he claimed, because “the same individuals that were supposed to have committed Russiagate are now back in command. They are aware of this since they raided Trump’s home while claiming to be conducting a counterintelligence investigation. They’re worried that more of their corruption and illegal activity will be uncovered. What transpires when the remainder is released?”
