Last week, Biden gave a dark and disturbing speech. He accused Trump supporters (which includes most Republicans and many other Americans) of being “threats to democracy.” Biden continued to push this divisive rhetoric this week, when he accused Republicans of being “full of anger” and pushing violence.
Biden’s ominous speech did not go over well. Some compared his appearance–back lit with hellish red light–to Satan. But the White House doesn’t seem to have a problem with Biden painting half the country as enemies. In fact, Karine Jean-Pierre even defended the dark speech.
White House press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Wednesday that President Biden’s “soul of the nation” speech — in which he cast former President Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans as a threat to the country — was not divisive…
“People have talked about if (the speech) was divisive. It wasn’t divisive,” Jean-Pierre said. “(President Biden) was talking to a majority of the country who agree that we have to protect our democracy, who agree that we have to protect our freedom, who agree that we have to protect our rights.” […]
“You don’t have to look further than Jan. 6, 2021, to see what their attack was on our democracy. It was very clear. We all saw it,” Jean-Pierre said. “And when you have people who say the protesters on that day were patriots, that’s problematic. That’s coming from leaders.” [Source: Fox News]
Oh-kay! Jean-Pierre claims Biden’s speech wasn’t divisive. Then she goes on to accuse Trump and Republicans of being behind the January 6 riots.
How many times are Democrats going to bang that drum? Most Americans don’t care about J6. They didn’t care about Democrats’ bogus J6 “commission.” Yet Democrats keep pointing to that moment as “proof” Trump and Republicans are “threats to democracy.”
Jean-Pierre claimed that Biden spoke for the “majority” of Americans who support democracy. Really? Does Biden speak for most Americans? Has he not been paying attention? He has the lowest approval of any president in history.
And it’s ironic that Democrats are now talking about protecting democracy, when they refused to do anything about the many problems with the 2020 Election.
They say anyone who even questions that election is an enemy.
So, by their standards, you are only an America if you agree with Joe Biden–an unliked, failing president.
But no, Joe’s speech was divisive! As long as you obey his every whim and word.
How does this White House expect us to buy this garbage? They are desperate to slander Trump and Republicans on the eve of these midterms–in a pathetic attempt to distract from Biden’s massive failures.
But something tells me they are going to fail.
