Democrats have made it very clear that they will hold onto their power at any cost. Even if that means destroying the very democracy they claim to be protecting. In recent years, Democrats have stopped at nothing to expand the federal government, tax you to death, lock you up in your homes, and rob you of your First Amendment liberties.
They even tried to pass two laws that would have legalized voter fraud by federalizing our elections.
But they are far from done. The stakes for our country have never been higher going into a midterm election. And “Vice President” Kamala Harris has revealed that if Democrats keep their majority in Congress, they will destroy the one thing that is keeping the Senate from plunging into chaos.
Vice President Kamala Harris said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that if Democrats win two more seats in the U.S. Senate, they will remove the filibuster rule to pass abortion and voting legislation…
“…Our president has said he will not let the filibuster get in the way. If the Senate though a majority voter, votes to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act, he will sign it into law. You know what that means in the midterms? We need to hold on to the Senate and get two more then we can put into the law the protections of Roe v. Wade. Everything is on the line when you think about the millions of women and the people in America that care about them who understand the significance of women making the decisions about her own body.”
Anchor Chuck Todd asked, “If the Democrats get 52 Senate seats or more legislative filibuster gone? Or just on this issue?”
Harris said, “The president has been clear on this issue and on another very important issue which is voting rights.” [Source: Breitbart]
Harris revealed that if Democrats get just two more seats in the Senate, they will kill the filibuster. The filibuster rule is the only thing stopping Democrats from ramming whatever far-left, socialist, insane bill they want down America’s throat. The filibuster requires 60 votes for a bill to move out of debate and to a final vote. It gives the minority party a voice.
Democrats have used the filibuster for decades to stop Republican legislation. Yet now, they want to erase it because it stands in their way of passing radical abortion laws, “voting rights” laws that will legalize voter fraud, and massive spending that will send taxes into the stratosphere.
They are no longer even pretending like they care about the American people. Democrats are hellbent on grabbing as much power as they can. If it means destroying the very democracy they exploit, so be it. Democrats don’t care about our liberties. They don’t care about our values. They don’t care about our faith.
All they care about is crushing the Republican Party, so there will be no barrier between them and their socialist utopia.
