Joe Biden is far from qualified to be president. If that wasn’t obvious from his many failed policies, his constant gaffes during appearances should. But he took his own cake when he sat down for an interview with 60 Minutes.
Biden made one bizarre comment after another. At one point, he defied U.S. policy when he said we’d fight China over Taiwan. That alone could trigger a war, prompting the State Department to backtrack. He also revealed his ignorance of the Second Amendment saying it was “bizarre” that Americans buy semiautomatics. That brought backlash from many citizens.
He even claimed that the COVID pandemic is over. Anthony Fauci himself had to explain that bombshell away.
So many mistakes. So many backtracks. And now, more people are worrying about Biden’s competence.
Biden, looking every minute of his 78 years on the planet, made so many misstatements and blunders in the trainwreck interview that his White House staff chundered, then got to work walking back much of what he said…
But after the airing of the interview, the White House quickly said that U.S. policy on Taiwan hasn’t changed…
“The pandemic is over. We still have a problem with COVID. We’re still doing a lot of work on it,” Biden said…
While many Americans have moved on from the pandemic after more than two years of masks and lockdowns, deaths still number more than 400 a day. What’s more, the top immunologist in the U.S. jumped out to say it’s not over. [Source: Daily Wire]
Biden said so many things that were just plain wrong, from the economy to COVID, that more than a few of his staffers had to backtrack. It doesn’t even seem as if Biden knows what the heck he is talking about.
You’d expect someone like Joe would have staffers prepping him for an interview like this. Numerous aides and writers would give Joe talking points–all of which were vetted by top officials.
Yet Biden still said things that contradicted U.S. policy or just common sense. Members of his cabinet had to jump out and “clarify” much of Biden’s words. Can we really trust a man so out of touch that nothing he says is accurate?
As usual, Biden appeared confused, annoyed, and lethargic. He didn’t seem all that concerned with the many crises still hitting our country–including inflation, the open border, and COVID. Biden doesn’t seem to care that Americans are being neglected, as he shovels cash into special interests’ hands.
Can we really believe this man is right for the job? And where is Congress? Why aren’t our leaders holding this man accountable?
I guess these midterms will be more important than some think.
