Democrats have been spending the last month or so desperately trying to reframe the narrative of the 2022 midterms. They have no accomplishments to brag about. They sat back and let Joe Biden destroy the economy (and the border and several nations overseas). But they spent the last few weeks trying to slander “MAGA” Republicans, in a pathetic attempt to distract from their own failures.
But it doesn’t seem to be working. Despite the baseless attacks from Biden and his cronies, Americans know who exactly to blame. Democrats have been in charge for the last two years, as inflation raged and the economy plummeted. And now, a new poll reveals big trouble for Biden-among voters he absolutely needs.
Fifty-one percent of independents say President Joe Biden’s economy is very bad, while two percent of independents said it is very good, a Wednesday Civiqs poll revealed…
Overall, the survey showed only 20 percent said Biden’s economy is very good to fairly good, while 77 percent said it was very bad to fairly bad. Four percent were unsure.
Only 16 percent of independents said the direction of Biden’s America is on the right track. Sixty-five percent it is getting worse. Fifteen percent said it is about the same. [Source: Breitbart]
Uh-oh, Joe. Independents are blasting Joe Biden’s economy. A whopping 51% of them say Biden’s economy is “very bad.” Not “fair.” Not “bad.” But “very bad.” Only a slim 2% of independent voters say the economy is “very good.”
Those are some damning numbers. Biden and his administration have desperately tried to spin the news. They have tried to gaslight Americans into thinking that the economy is “strong,” even as inflation is at a 40-year high. Even as millions of illegal aliens flood the country. And as Biden’s lack of leadership has triggered conflict all over the world.
In reality, a president couldn’t be doing a worse job. Biden’s spokespeople can say whatever they want, but Americans know the score.
Millions of Americans have struggled over the last year, as inflation wiped out their checkbooks. They’ve struggled to put gas in their cars, commute to work, send their kids to school, and put food on the table. And it’s all thanks to Joe Biden and his crooked and incompetent party.
These numbers obviously spell doom for the midterm elections. Independent voters often decide close races. Their voters can make or break a party’s majority in Congress, especially when so many swing seats are up for grabs.
And when this many independents are giving Joe a failing grade, there’s not much Democrats can do to salvage their chances. They can lie as much as they want to the media, but that won’t change the growing anger voters feel toward the left.
We can’t predict how the elections will shake out, but there doesn’t seem to be much Biden can do to turn this tide.
