Desperate Biden Makes BOGUS Claim–Gets Silenced by the Facts

Isn’t it hilarious how Biden is trying to rewrite history? Back in 2020, he told the world that he was going to shut down America’s fossil fuel industry. Yet, when his approval tanked thanks to rising gas prices, he suddenly cared about lower costs.

Except that, nothing he’s done has helped. Quite the opposite in fact, since his agenda has been to always strangle America’s energy production.

But since it is an election year, the old liar tried to take credit for the minor gas price decline experienced over the Summer (which has ended as of last week). As he did so, he dropped a real whopper.

President Joe Biden claimed that the cost for a gallon of gasoline was under three dollars, during a White House event on Monday about higher costs experienced by consumers.

“In some few states, it’s below three bucks,” he said. “It’s in the low threes in other places.”

No state has an average price of under three dollars, according to the American Automobile Association. The lowest price for a gallon of gas is in Mississippi, according to Gasbuddy.com, which is $3.04. But Biden did not correct his statement.

Last week, Biden made a similar claim, which was fact-checked and corrected by the White House as inaccurate.

“In 41 states plus the District of Columbia, the average gasoline price is less than $2.99,” he bragged during a DNC event in Washington, DC. [Source: Breitbart]

Gas prices started to decline over the Summer, after hitting over $6/gallon in some states. The decline had nothing to do with the Biden administration. Instead, prices declined by a fraction, because Americans stopped traveling.

Biden’s pathetic agenda actually managed to cripple the tourist season for many Americans.

But that streak ended and we’ve seen gas prices steadily rise over the last week. Meanwhile, Biden is still taking credit for a price drop that has already died. Biden lied and said that in some states, prices are below $3.00 a gallon.

Not much of a boast, when prices were below $2.00 a gallon before he entered office. Yet this brag wasn’t even accurate, since the lower average price was $3.04 when he said that.

Does Biden even know what the heck is going on? Apparently, not. Biden has a long history of making things up, expecting people to believe him. But with increasing evidence that he’s mentally unwell, Americans are even more concerned about what Biden says.

It’s pretty rich, regardless, that he tried to take credit for lowering gas prices. His entire administration has admitted to trying to force Americans to switch to EVs. The very reason gas is so high is because they are trying to kill off fossil fuels (his “build back” bill will tax the industry by an additional $25 billion).

So, his boast doesn’t even jive with his own administration’s agenda!
