For over a year, the signs have indicated that Democrats are poised to lose big this November. The off-year elections from 2021 were big losses for the liberals. And polling and Biden’s approval revealed voters are ready to send Democrats packing–from both Congress and state governments.
Democrats refused to change their strategy to fix the economy and win back voters. In fact, they have doubled down on their worst ideas, making inflation and the recession much worse. But they thought they could still win big this fall, by pushing abortion as a top issue.
Once the Supreme Court ended Roe v Wade, Democrats thought they could use that to secure votes across the country. But they were wrong. Dead wrong.
And this one issue has been their weakness for decades. Even CNN had to admit it.
Signs point to the GOP having a “very good night” on Election Night, CNN reported, citing the fact that voters are far more concerned about crime, a traditional GOP strong point, rather than abortion, an issue Democrats use to sway the public toward them…
[Statistician Harry] Enten cited a recent Monmouth University poll released which showed 82% of respondents felt inflation was the most important issue for the federal government to address while 72% thought crime was the most important issue. Those issues were followed by elections/voting (70%), jobs/unemployment (68%), immigration (57%), infrastructure (57%) and finally abortion, at (56%).

Wow. This man’s job is to study data, yet he didn’t know Americans care more about rising crime than killing unborn babies. And the left doesn’t get it when we say they are out of touch.
CNN had to admit that Democrats are in big trouble, given this report. The top issue facing voters this election cycle is runaway inflation. Inflation was triggered thanks to Biden’s reckless spending and his refusal to release American energy. Prices continue to skyrocket because he cannot fix the supply chain, which is killing nearly every industry.
Close behind that was the rising crime in blue cities. There is no way Democrats are not taking the blame for this. They were the ones who, since before 2020, pushed radical support for criminals. They released convicts from jail, eliminated cash bail, and of course defunded police departments.
In every city that defunded cops, crime has raged out of control. So much so, that some of these blue cities have tried to quietly restore some of their PDs budgets. But most have refused, ensuring crime will not go away any time soon.
Americans, regardless of politics, don’t care about other issues–when they fear for their lives and can’t put food on the table. Democrats can’t even get the basics right–and it’s going to cost them this November.
The only real question is, how badly will they lose?
