Don’t believe the mainstream media. Gas and energy prices are so high because of one man: Joe Biden. When he entered office, Biden shut down drilling on federal land. He’s leased less land for drilling than every president since Harry Truman. Biden’s anti-American energy decisions forced gas and electricity prices to go up.
It has nothing to do with Russia. It has everything to do with Biden’s energy Nazis’ agenda of forcing you to buy expensive electric vehicles. Don’t believe me? Just look at what he wants to do next. Even though gas prices continue to remain high (as well as the cost of heating your home), Biden wants to impose something that will make prices go even higher.
President Biden is proposing a tax on oil and gas companies, saying the energy sector is “war profiteering” and that his plan will give Americans a financial break – one week before the midterm elections.
Biden said Monday that energy companies are failing to meet their “responsibility to act in the interest of their consumers.”
“They’re going to pay a higher tax on their excess profits and face other restrictions,” said Biden, amid gasoline and other other energy prices that have soared since the start of Russia’s war against Ukraine and have become a major headwind for Democrats seeking election or reelection Nov. 8. Unbelievable. Biden shut down America’s oil and gas industry. But now, he wants to hammer these companies even more with massive new taxes. Biden, citing zero evidence, has accused these companies of “war profiteering” by charging high prices for oil.
Don’t believe it. Biden shut down American energy production. Companies have no choice but to buy oil from Saudi Arabia instead of drilling it themselves. The low supply of oil worldwide is forcing prices to go up. Yet Biden thinks we are so stupid, we’d believe his claims that these companies are profiting off of the war in Ukraine.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Biden, if he gets his way, would impose taxes that would cripple American oil and gas companies. With supplies at a record low, they would lose whatever profits they are making. That wouldn’t result in lower gas prices, but massive layoffs at these companies.
And, in turn, prices for energy and gas would get even higher. Biden knows this would happen, but he is lying to make you think he’s doing the right thing.
Now, why would a president push policies that would hurt Americans this badly? Because it will force Americans to buy expensive “green” alternatives. Almost all of the green industry is run by wealthy liberal donors. Biden is shutting down American energy, hurting millions of people, all to help out Democrats who are already stinking rich.
Let that sink in.
