Liberals have been melting down ever since Elon Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion. Honestly, we haven’t seen Democrats this upset since November 2016. And boy, is it hilarious. For some reason, they don’t like knowing that Elon is making Twitter a cost-effective, functioning service that respects the views of all its users. Democrats preferred Twitter as a company that lost millions of dollars a day, employed thousands of employees who did nothing, and censored half of America.
Yeah, that’s pretty much how the government functions as well.
Recently, Musk took steps to streamline the company and restore free speech to numerous users. Democrats, especially those in the legacy media, could stand it no longer. In a pathetic act of virtue signaling, CBS News announced that it was “pausing” its use of Twitter because of Musk’s “uncertainty.”
Fearful of the “uncertainty” surrounding Elon Musk’s management of Twitter, CBS News announced that it would be suspending its usage of the social media site.

LMAO. Really, CBS? Do you think anyone cares that a dinosaur MSM network is no longer using Twitter? Does CBS not realize that more people get their news from social media and the Internet than its TV channel? Does CBS think this is going to hurt Twitter or encourage others to leave too?
It’s pretty hilarious to see how self-important CBS is. The network assumed that their leaving Twitter was going to trigger an exodus of other aging media outlets from the platform. But guess what happened? Not even the weekend goes by before they see the error of their ways.
CBS News is back tweeting on Twitter, after halting activity on the Elon Musk-owned social platform for some 40 hours because of “security concerns.”
“After pausing for much of the weekend to assess the security concerns, CBS News and Stations is resuming its activity on Twitter as we continue to monitor the situation,” the news org’s comms team tweeted Sunday morning at 9:36 a.m. ET. [Source: Variety]
Wow! Talk about backtracking! After realizing what an idiotic mistake they made, CBS News returns to Twitter in less than 48 hours. The network must have seen its number drop so fast–in such a short amount of time–that it scrambled to get back on the popular platform.
Heads must have rolled among CBS executives after the stupid decision to leave Twitter was made. Now, they are trying to save face by saying it was a “security concern.” Uh-huh. Nobody is talking about Twitter posing a threat to “security.” They left to send a message to the woke mob that they were against Musk’s support for free speech.
But when CBS News realized that nobody else was following them–and that they were poised to lose big over not using the service–they crawled back as if nothing had happened. They looked like George Costanza who went back to work on Monday, hoping nobody remembered he quit his job on Friday.
But we all remember, CBS. We remember that you are run by liberal con artists who care more about virtue signaling than reporting the news. So quit Twitter if you want. Or go back on the platform. You’ve long ago lost America’s respect.
