New York Democrats Rocked by Mass Exodus–They Are Losing This Group Big Time

Democrats have long relied on minority groups to carry them, come election time. Liberals do very little while in office that actually helps these groups. But when it comes time to vote, Democrats all but demand minorities and people of color to vote blue.

But it doesn’t seem Democrats in some parts of the country can count on this strategy much longer. In New York, what should have been a close race for Democrat Kathy Hochul became a nail-biter. In fact, every New York county shifted hard to the right in this year’s election, sending Democrats into a panic.

And, according to post-election data, New York Democrats have lost one minority for good.

New York’s once blue-leaning Asian-American voters — disgusted with crime, discrimination and bad education — have turned on the Democratic Party with a vengeance, a Post analysis of election results reveals.

In a startling development, Republican gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin carried the majority Asian 40th Assembly District in Flushing/Bayside Queens over victorious Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul, with 7,819 votes to 7,301 for the incumbent…

This is big news. Asian American voters in New York turned on Democrats to vote for Republican candidates big time in this year’s election. The biggest reasons the long-standing Democrat supporters turned were crime, discrimination, and bad education.

One voter said, “We are Asian American citizens, but we are not treated equally. … I’m very disappointed about the Democratic party right now. I hope the entire New York could turn red.”

Wow. That’s a powerful indictment against Democrats, who long claimed to be the party of diversity and equality. But this problem with Asian Americans is not exclusive to just New York. Asian Americans across the country are turning on leftist ideology, especially in higher education.

It has come out that affirmative action has given priority to black and Hispanic college applicants. And despite having better grades and being better qualified, this liberal program has been kicking Asian students to the curb for years. It’s gotten so bad that two groups representing Asian students have taken this matter to the Supreme Court.

It appears Democrats have taken Asian Americans for granted. They have pumped tremendous amounts of money and energy into brainwashing black Americans into supporting them. But they seemed to push Asians off to the side, contradicting their own claims of racial equality.

It doesn’t seem Democrats have a plan to reverse this trend. The reasons Asian voters turned on the party haven’t been addressed by Hochul or anyone else. Crime is still out of control in New York. And Asian Americans continue to be victims of discrimination. We could see a growing wave of support from the GOP, from this group.
