These days, many Americans have lost faith in public figures. Hollywood, the music industry, and other entertainment venues are populated with rich and powerful people–who seem to despise the average American. When they are not making content loaded with filth, they are criticizing honest, hard-working Americans.
But one household name is refusing to stay silent. He is well-known for his faith in God and is spreading the word. He is releasing a devotional series, to inspire and encourage Americans. And he is urging other celebrities of faith to speak out.
Tim Tebow shared his nuggets of wisdom for remaining diligent with faith during dark times as he opened up about his message of answering God’s calling in his new devotional series “Mission Possible.” […]
“Number one, it’s to encourage people that they have a mission, that they’re here on purpose for a purpose. It’s to encourage them that we don’t have to waste it, that we get to live it out.” […]
Kilmeade compared Tebow to actor Chris Pratt, who has faced criticism for being open about faith in similar ways, but Tebow says navigating criticism against himself boiled down to breaking ties with his people-pleasing habits.
“I’ve heard Chris share… We’re friends with some of the same people,” Tebow said. “I think that when you do stand for something, you will get criticized, but I ultimately believe that when you believe you’re standing for what’s right and what is true and sustaining to try to honor God, even though all of us fall short. I still think that it’s worthy, and it’s worth it.” [Source: Fox News]
Tim Tebow is launching a new devotional series focused on encouraging people to live their mission. Tebow is a former NFL player known for his end zone prayers and his open faith in God. He has faced harsh criticism from the entertainment world for years. But he is not backing down in his dedication–and his mission to help others.
During an interview, he commented on Hollywood star Chris Pratt, who is also open about his faith in God. Pratt has faced fierce attacks from the woke mob and others for his views on religion. But Tebow encouraged him and other celebrities that they need to stand “for what’s right” and not back down.
At a time when Hollywood and pop culture steps on people of faith, we need folks like Tebow shining a light. Instead of giving in to the corrupt culture, he and others are lifting up traditional values of faith, family, and country.
Hopefully, his example will inspire many others to take a stand for their faith.
