Democrats, including Joe Biden, bragged over the 2022 midterms. They claimed that because there wasn’t a “red wave,” they came out winners. But they are ignoring the facts as they always do. Last year’s elections weren’t barnburners for the GOP, but they won more than Democrats. And in many states, every district shifted to the right, even in blue New York.
The writing is on the wall. Joe Biden continues to fail as experts predict a worse economy in 2023 than we’ve seen so far. Biden’s reckless spending has doomed the U.S. economy. Don’t expect his approval to get any better. And when 2024 rolls around, Democrats can look forward to some bad election results.
Just how bad is it? This bad: Democrats in the Senate refuse to take over this one major committee.
There does not seem to be any Democrats eager to take charge of the party’s Senate re-election arm.
The 2024 Senate map highly favoring Republicans next cycle casts a dark shadow over the Democratic Party’s already slim majority, leading some strategists to believe it is the reason why no one is nominating a chair to the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC)…
“We are talking about 23 Senate seats that Democrats need to defend. Three are in purely red states while five are swing states. So it’s no wonder that no senator is jumping at the opportunity, especially during a presidential election year.” [Source: Fox News]
Wow. Senate Democrats appear reluctant to pick a new head of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. This in-party organization is responsible for fundraising for Senate re-election campaigns, as well as other efforts to fill Senate seats with Democrats.
But nobody wants to take over the job, as signs point to Republicans retaking the Senate in 2024. According to reports, Democrats will have to defend at least 23 seats. Three of those are in deep red states, meaning they will most likely be flipped. Five more are from swing states, meaning tough battles are ahead.
Meanwhile, Joe Biden will be struggling to convince Americans to re-election him, after what will have been four years of failure. Voters, eager to kick Biden to the curb, will not be willing to re-elect members of his party.
It seems, because of this, no Senate Democrat wants to take over the DSCC. That’s because, when they lose in 2024, that person will get most of the blame.
It’s pretty hilarious. For all of the left’s boasting in the media, they are terrified of what’s to come. Maybe they shouldn’t have spent years punishing Americans with high taxes and crime and instead focused on helping us?
