In recent weeks, we’ve learned the terrifying truth about what China is trying to do to our country. We already knew that they have their fingers in nearly every industry. Chinese money is in our media, universities, entertainment, and even halls of government. But that’s not enough for the communist regime, which seems hellbent on overthrowing our way of life.
They came up with a scheme to spy on nearly every American. Millions of people are giving China their personal data, including location and facial recognition data. The crisis is getting so bad, numerous Republican governors have taken steps to protect state employees. And the FBI issued a dire warning that every official should listen to.
Except for imbecile Gretchen Whitmer, Governor of Michigan. Because, despite these warnings, she still is putting America at risk.
After the FBI declared the popular Chinese video app TikTok a national security threat, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer continues to post on the platform.
Whitmer posted three videos in three days to her 186,000 followers. The most recent post is video of her second inauguration on Jan. 1.
Another video shows Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist, Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, and Attorney General Dana Nessel walking through a door and into their second term.
TikTok is owned by Beijing-based ByteDance Ltd.
About 14 states have taken action to rid TikTok from state devices after FBI Director Christopher Wray said that the app “allows [China] to manipulate content, and if they want to, to use it for influence operations.” [Source: Just the News]
This is pretty alarming. Fourteen U.S. states have banned social app TikTok from state devices. This is before the FBI revealed that communist China owns and operates the app and is using it to steal private data from U.S. users.
The problem is getting so bad, it might not be long before Congress gets involved. They might compel Apple and other tech companies to ban the app outright. Any reasonable governor should be taking this warning seriously.
Yet the idiot who runs Michigan is not only ignoring the warning, but she keeps posting videos to TikTok. How stupid do you have to be to ignore the fact that communist China has access to your phone? This is a serious national security threat. Millions of Americans are already vulnerable to Chinese influence.
Why is a governor not taking steps to protect her state? Maybe it’s because this woman is an incompetent fool who has no business in government. Whitmer abused her power during the pandemic. She locked down businesses, schools, and churches–which her own family had special privileges.
She clearly does not care about the well-being of Michigan residents or any other American. Unless Congress moves to ban this app entirely, Whitmer will keep exposing her state to Chinese spies.
