Last week, Joe Biden made a big deal about his impending trip to the border. After ignoring the crisis he created for over two years, he suddenly pretended as if he cared about the issue. Just a few weeks ago, he dismissed the border and said there were “more important” things to do.
But now, we’re supposed to believe he cares about the millions of illegal aliens who have flooded our country since he entered office? We knew this visit was just a sham. Biden and his handlers would in no way actually witness the chaos at the border. He traveled to El Paso, a liberal city on the far West of Texas’s border.
And, big surprise! He saw nothing like what we’ve seen in the last two years. Now, people are blowing the whistle on him.
The Border Patrol union is slamming President Biden’s trip to El Paso, Texas, on Sunday amid reports that state and local authorities have ramped up detentions and cleaned up much of the migrant encampments in the area ahead of the visit.
“El Paso being cleaned up as if nothing unusual ever happened there,” the National Border Patrol Council tweeted Friday. “Just in time for Biden’s ‘visit to the border.’”

The union’s tweet followed a report Thursday by El Paso Matters that said “large crowds” of migrants had been detained by Border Patrol agents overnight Wednesday in downtown El Paso. Subsequent reports by El Paso Matters and the New York Post said Border Patrol and local police had ramped up patrols and detentions in El Paso ahead of Biden’s visit Sunday. [Source: Fox News]
Why should anyone be shocked by this? Reports reveal that El Paso authorities quickly rounded up the thousands of illegals that have been overwhelming the city for weeks now. All so that when Biden showed up, it would look squeaky clean.
Biden, of course, will refuse to admit there is a crisis after this. And he can point to his trip and claim that everything is under control. This trip was merely a stunt so that CNN and other liberal outlets can lie to Americans, to trick them into thinking Republicans made it all up.
But people are blasting Joe for this deception.

The governor of Texas was not putting up with this joke.

And he is outing Biden over refusing to even properly coordinate with local authorities.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) on Sunday accused the Biden team of failing to communicate with local officials about President Biden’s visit to the U.S.-Mexico border in El Paso, Texas.
“Listen, during this entire time, Joe Biden has not called me. He did not call me, nor [did] his staff call, and let us know, either about his visit or to invite us, until last night. We got a random e-mail to one of my staff members asking if I would be there to meet him on the tarmac,” Abbott said on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures.” [Source: The Hill]
This visit was not about looking at the state of our overrun border. It was just a con job by a failed and disgustingly dishonest administration. Biden did not look at the overrun ports of entry. He did not see the crowded detention centers. He did not acknowledge that he’s failed to protect our border over the last two years.
But at least he gets to keep lying to America.
