You might be wondering why Democrats refuse to enforce our border. And why, for years, they have all but encouraged illegal immigration? This isn’t a new thing, mind you. Long before Joe Biden sat back and let millions of aliens enter our country, Democrats from coast to coast have turned a blind eye to countless illegal immigrants.
Part of that reason is that they foolishly claim we have enough room to accommodate anyone who jumps our border. Democrats seem to think that America has limitless resources, ready to support freeloaders who don’t want to assimilate to our culture, obey our laws, or respect our communities. Democrats are even willing to spend tax dollars supporting illegals, while Americans (including veterans) are neglected.
But now, one blue city mayor is smashing the left’s narrative. After numerous Republican governors shipped illegals to his doorstep, Mayor Adams has had enough.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams said that there is “no more room in New York” for asylum seekers being sent to the Big Apple.
Speaking during a news conference from El Paso, Texas, with Mayor Oscar Leeser on Sunday, Adams told media members that migrants who had come to the New York were being fed misinformation, including that there’s automatic employment and housing in a hotel…
“New York, you go there, you are going to be living in congregate settings, that there is no more room in New York. That should be coordinated by our national government, not only done locally here by those NGOs, but it should be done by our national government. That is not happening.” [Source: Fox News]
Oh, wait a minute! I thought there was plenty of room in the U.S. to house endless migrants who are bombarding our border–demanding free housing, clothing, food, and cash? But suddenly, Democrat Mayor of New York Eric Adams is saying there is no more room in NYC.
Not very “compassionate” of you, Adams. But he’s just simply stating the facts. Tens of thousands of migrants have ended up in the Big Apple since Biden’s left the border open. And the city, which is still struggling to recover from COVID, does not have the resources to support these freeloaders.
So, what is Eric Adams’ solution? Certainly not dumping these illegals onto another state, right? If New York can’t handle these outsiders, why should another city or state take them? These people broke the law to enter our country. They should be removed and sent back to their country of origin.
But despite shattering the left’s narrative about immigration, Adams falls short of actually demanding that. The only solution to this growing crisis is for the government to secure our border. Illegal entrants must be deported. Legal immigration must be enforced. That is the only way we can get this problem under control.
Democrats, though, still refuse to do that. So, it will get much worse in blue cities until they do.
