It doesn’t seem that Joe Biden’s second State of the Union went as planned. Republicans slammed Biden’s many lies, some even shouting over him during the speech. Biden claimed the country was strong, despite an overrun border, unchecked crime, and out-of-control inflation.
But it was worse than that. Joe struggled just to talk straight. He fumbled his words and mumbled like the nursing patient he is. But now, he’s got more bad news to deal with. As it turns out, not many Americans were impressed enough to tune in. Because the speech’s ratings were dismal.
President Joe Biden’s State of the Union (SOTU) address drew an underwhelming response from television viewers, with figures released Wednesday showing the second smallest audience in at least 30 years took the time to watch.
An estimated 27.3 million people tuned in to the president across major broadcasters and cable news networks, down nearly 28 percent from the 38.2 million people who witnessed Biden’s speech in 2022, the Nielsen company said. [Source: Breitbart]
Dang. Ratings for this year’s SOTU dropped by 28 percent from last year’s. And last years was pretty low! The worst ratings in 30 years were Biden’s first address in 2021, but that wasn’t the SOTU. This year’s SOTU was the worst yet, since 1993. Not that we’re surprised.
Numerous people pointed out his failures from the night’s performance, including ignoring the devastating earthquake that hit Turkey.
Biden continues to suffer from low approval ratings. Many blame him for the state the country is in. He sits back as millions of illegal aliens flood the country. He deliberately hurts the economy with reckless spending and going to war with American energy.
Despite all this, Biden still pretends like he’s going to run for re-election. Democrats don’t have anyone much better, but Biden’s prospects appear to be getting worse and worse. Let’s not forget he’s getting hammered with endless scandals and investigations.
Not to mention how weak he looked over the whole Chinese spy balloon fiasco. Biden’s hesitance to do the right thing put America’s national security at risk. All of this were reasons to say America is not strong.
Yet Biden ignored all of it, as he has ignored the many problems he created since entering office. The low ratings are pretty typical for a failed president like him. Americans had better things to do than listen to Biden’s bogus rantings.
Hopefully, come 2024, they will boot him out of office for good.
