Buttigieg in Hot Seat After Another Derailment–Republican Makes Big Move

Americans in East Palestine, OH are facing a nightmare scenario, after a train derailment forced them from their homes. This massive crisis is happening, while head of the Department of Transportation, Biden appointee Pete Buttigieg, appears MIA. He has failed on his job numerous times since entering office. And things just went from bad to worse.

On Monday a train derailed in Enoree, South Carolina.

This second derailment in as many days involves a train carrying ethanol. Which, as you might imagine, is not something that should be leaking from tankers. These shocking derailments come months after Congress forced rail workers to agree to a bad deal with rail companies.

Many said that would lead to disaster and, look, it has. Buttigieg let another train derail and now, a hotshot GOP senator is demanding answers.

Senator JD Vance (R-OH) issued a statement on Monday, vowing to get to the bottom of the train derailment and chemical burn that took place in East Palestine, Ohio. Authorities released toxic chemicals from the derailed train carts to reduce the threat of an explosion. Residents were told to evacuate the area…

“Why did this happen? After the cleanup and safety of everyone is ensured, we will turn our attention to how to prevent this in the future… My office will be investigating these concerns in the weeks to come.” [Source: The Post Millennial]

Newcomer Sen. JD Vance announced his office will be investigating the devastating train derailment that has displayed thousands of Americans in East Palestine. Vance is from Ohio and represents the state. So, it comes as no surprise that he is outraged over this crisis.

He believes that the derailment could have been caused by gross negligence or possible sabotage.

So, a new senator is working with FEMA to ensure the safety of Americans after a devastating derailment. And he is vowing to launch an investigation to get to the bottom of this disaster.

But the man who is responsible for the federal agency over transportation… silence. Where is Buttigieg? Why isn’t he on the ground in Ohio? Why isn’t he issuing statements to assure the people of East Palestine that everything is under control?

Oh, I guess Pete just assumes other people will do it, right? He did nothing about the supply chain. He did nothing about the rail workers’ dispute. He did nothing as, three times in three months, airlines were shut down.

And he’s doing nothing about this life-threatening crisis.
