We all know Joe Biden is not long for this earth. The question only is, will he make it to the 2024 Election and beyond? Biden has already shown signs he is not fit for office. Many signs. You know it. I know it. And, yes, even Democrats know it. One even blew the whistle on what “hundreds” of Democrat officials are thinking.
Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN) said in an interview this week that literally hundreds of Democrat U.S. lawmakers are apprehensive about President Joe Biden being the party’s nominee heading into the 2024 presidential race, but that they are too afraid to say anything. [Source: Daily Wire]
It looks like Democrats don’t want Joe to run. Or at least, see a few strong contenders challenge him, so they have a better shot at winning 2024. Biden’s approval numbers are terrible. And he’s losing his mind. A strong Republican candidate is sure to win next year.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams said Tuesday morning that when the U.S. took prayers out of schools, guns replaced them.
“When we took prayers out of schools, guns came into schools,” he said to applause from religious leaders at the annual Interfaith Breakfast in Manhattan…
“Don’t tell me about no separation of church and state. State is the body. Church is the heart. You take the heart out of the body, the body dies,” Adams said. [Source: Fox News]
Um… what? I don’t think I have ever heard anyone outside the Republican Party complain about prayer being taken out of schools. Not since… well the time they took prayer out of schools. And that was two generations ago.
Why on earth would a super-liberal Democrat like Eric Adams say this? Yes, he was speaking at an interfaith event. You could assume he was just pandering to his audience. But Democrats normally don’t talk about how removing prayer from schools was a bad thing.
And they never complain about the “separation of church and state.” These are conservative talking points. The only reason a man like Adams is saying this, is because he’s trying to appeal to both right-leaning, religious Americans–while at the same time reaching liberal ones as well (by complaining about the guns).
Why would Adams need to do that? Is he gearing up for his re-election in the coming years? Or, given the timing, he is testing the waters for a 2024 campaign? Plenty of people have wondered if Adams was preparing his own presidential move. With more and more Democrats complaining about Joe, this could be his moment.
