We can assume that Biden is riding high at the moment. The media is in a flurry, writing about Donald Trump’s indictment. All the negative press is distracting the country from Biden’s constant failures and schemes that have damaged the country. Not to mention his own investigations.
On top of that, Biden can get away with failing because the media covers for him. So, it comes as no surprise when he tries to pull a fast one on Americans. On April 1, he actually took to Twitter to brag about how he “helped” the economy. He even claimed this was the “strongest” recovery of “any major economy” on the planet.

Hundreds of thousands of small businesses had closed – and millions of Americans had lost their jobs.
We got relief to small businesses fast to jumpstart the strongest recovery of any major economy in the world.

Folks were in no way pleased with this whopper. And they were quick to blast Joe over it.
“I love a good April Fool’s joke,” the U.S. Ministry of Truth tweeted in response.
Doug Powers congratulated the presidential Twitter account for posting “the best April Fool joke” of the day.
Others simply pointed out the errors in Biden’s claims, noting the missing context — namely forced lockdowns and closures due to COVID — and arguing that the economy would have corrected as things opened whether Biden had acted or not. [Source: Daily Wire]
This is pretty ridiculous. Biden had the audacity to take credit for the economy’s “recovery.” But he left out the fact that our economy was damaged, thanks to lockdown policies he and other Democrats supported. And we were only recovering in 2021 because states were fighting back and reopening.
Meanwhile, Biden has gone out of his way to slow and outright stop the recovery. He triggered runaway inflation, which continues to hurt working Americans. He shut down our oil industry, leading to sky-high energy prices. He neglected the supply chain and has raised taxes several times.
All of this has harmed our recovery, not helped. Americans can’t even buy eggs, for crying out loud. Yet Biden thinks he can take a victory lap for doing everything he can to hurt Americans?
Talk about an ugly April Fools.
All Biden had to do to ensure a strong recovery was nothing. Just leave Trump’s policies in place and we would be much better off right now. But old Joe reversed everything Trump did and we are in an epic mess.
