Millions of viewers were shocked when Fox News abruptly fired its top host, Tucker Carlson. In the days that followed, left-wing organization Media Matters tried to slander Tucker, releasing texts and footage of the man that they somehow got their hands on. But it did nothing to turn fans off from the guy… in fact, people seem to like him more now!
What was Fox News thinking to cancel a smart, young, funny news host?
Well, I’m sure Rupert is happy with his decision, but the bean counters probably aren’t. You just don’t fire a top host and expect viewers to be happy about it. His replacement Brian Kilmeade might be a good guy, but he’s no Tucker Carlson. And now, we are learning just how badly Fox is suffering.
Ratings for Fox News have dropped considerably in the wake of popular anchor Tucker Carlson departing from the network.
During its 8 p.m. hour, the network has dropped from a three million viewer average to a 1.65 million viewer average since the departure of Tucker Carlson…
Beyond the 8 p.m. slot, the network has also seen a sharp decline in the 25-54 demographic in the 6 p.m., 7 p.m., and 9 p.m. time slots. [Source: Breitbart]

This is the nightmare scenario for Fox News. Remember, it has always been the number one cable news network in America. They put to shame CNN, MSNBC, and all the others. They even managed to survive when they fired Bill O’Reilly, who helped created the brand.
But with the unceremonious canning of popular host Tucker Carlson, for no justifiable reason, the network is cratering. This even looks worse than in 2020, when viewers accused Fox News of helping Joe Biden win the election!
We still don’t know the real reason the network got rid of Carlson’s show. According to reports, he is still on contract until the end of 2024. Some claim Fox News just wants him off the air and is preventing him from launching his own show. But we still don’t know why.
But we do know the what: Fox News is hemorrhaging viewers since axing Tucker. This trend might continue unless they are smart enough to bring him back. But are they willing to restore this popular host?
